Alloy Steel F9 Flanges are composed primarily of Chromium (8–10%), Molybdenum (0.9–1.1%), Carbon (≤0.15%), Manganese (≤0.6%), Silicon (≤1%), Phosphorus, and Sulfur in trace amounts, with the balance being Iron. This composition provides excellent strength, oxidation resistance, and thermal stability. The mechanical properties include a tensile strength of 415–585 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, elongation of 20% (min), and hardness up to 197 HB. These characteristics make F9 flanges ideal for high-temperature, high-pressure, and corrosive service environments.
