Alloy Steel F22 Flanges are composed primarily of chromium (8–9%), molybdenum (0.9–1.1%), carbon (0.05–0.15%), manganese (0.3–0.6%), silicon (0.2–0.5%), phosphorus, and sulfur in minimal amounts. This composition provides excellent strength, hardness, and corrosion resistance, especially in high-temperature and high-pressure environments. The mechanical properties include a tensile strength of around 415–585 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa minimum, and elongation of approximately 20%.
