Super Duplex Steel weld neck flanges are primarily composed of chromium (24–26%), nickel (6–8%), molybdenum (3–5%), nitrogen (0.2–0.3%), and iron as the balance. This composition provides excellent corrosion resistance, especially against pitting and stress corrosion cracking. Mechanically, they exhibit high tensile strength (around 800–900 MPa), yield strength (~550 MPa), and good impact toughness even at sub-zero temperatures.
